I often hear the lyrics and message differently with different musical versions. I began to hear this version in my mind after creating the other version that follows more closely to the Russ Taff original.

For this version, I was inspired by some acoustic, folky music that I like that incorporates different types of distorted percussion as a counterpoint to the beauty of the voices and acoustic instruments. This version has a different warmth and a different kind of space, and a different kind of power that compliments and expands the strengths of the other version.

We hope that both arrangements might give this music multiple paths for it to enter into your life and prayers in meaningful ways.
